Today's Rebecca's birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TINY MEANIE!
Yeah, Rebecca. She's this little-in-size yet a don't-mess-with-me person.Hope she had received a rather pleasant surprise. It's pretty fast meet-up however, due to preparation for O'level. Diligent students here~~ Ha!

Anyway, yesterday, Mid-Autumn Festival was celebrated at my condominium =) It was somewhat enjoyable. With the little kids singing and dancing, and lots of families with lanterns ^^ I wished my Mom were here though. She would have loved it..

Yeah, my Condo now looks like some oriental apartment. SERIOUSLY. But I really liked it, somehow, last night's scene really touched me, appreciate the multi-racial kinda thing. I mean, how many countries get to celebrate varieties of occasions? =) Oh! And mini pink moon cakes!

long missing and back!

HELLO readers! I am super sorry for the lack of posts. =) Somehow the excitement in my life turned into a pile of books, and some DVDs and maybe *clears throat* games. Okay whatever you read on the previous line, ignore the games and DVDs, i'm trying to imply that i'm hardworking.

ANYHOW, today is one MORTIFYING lousy day. I can't solve like 3 parts of my e-maths paper 2. It's a total disaster. Plus, i was in the bus with Mr Sublime and got jittery, on-edge kinda thing? Behaved terribly, like OMG. Can you say embarrassing? Goodness. If only i was a born cooler person or something, i wouldn't look so lame in front of him. Can you imagine? Dropped stuffs and squealed, got scolded by a random person whom presumed that Shinyee and I do not respect him?! Like HELLO, we seriously respect the elderlies okay. Like, offer seats that kind of NORMAL stuffs. Not behaving like the bus is a library. Okay nuff' said.

NO! I was really crushed okay!! I feel absolutely stupid right now. Grrrr. Okay, Stephanie, get over it! =) Right anyway, tomorrow's the last day of Preliminary. Wohoooooo! I can spend quality time with my ...... *drum roll*

THE SIMS 2 SEASONS!

It's awfully, extremely, immensely, *flipping thesaurus for more*, notably, remarkably, surpassingly FUN!
It really feels good playing it because it's no longer boring summer and customary days and nights. There are four seasons! With an ice-skating rink dude! Sigh* i miss my figure skating, but STILL, i tell you, it's like the BEST game i've ever played! For now. Not that i get tired of stuffs easily or what, but yeah, some sort perhaps. Aside, this expansion pack is really a great chance to foster relationships of your sims. It's chiefly on families and spending quality time. Yeah, gotta stop talking about the sims 2!

DOUBLE SIGH. My sister has went back to the States =) I felt pretty sad though, we're seperated again ='( Bye sis! And thanks for being patient with me =) Never really got to show you'al her face. Here it is.....

Anyway though, my brother's coming back from the States! Whooohooo! Yeah, it's pretty sad yeah? Seperated family members? ^^ Kidding. We're all close at hearts!

Watched No Reservation on... okay right. Okay maybe i do have a little short term memory. But anyway! It was somewhere this week. With Shinyee and Peiyi! Glad to remember that.

The movie was pretty good! Quite similar to the book by Dorothy Koomson's "My Best Friend's Girl", except that in the book, it wasn't about french or italian cuisines or anything edible. It's simply about betrayal and.. OKAY right, i'm supposed to write a review on the movie not the book.
To make it easy, after the movie, these were our reactions.
Stephanie : Eh! quite nice eh! How come all the show that involved cooking so nice ah.
Peiyi : I want to cook already. (Shinyee and my jaws dropped. Plus, i swear that i saw shinyee shivering)
Shinyee : Very nice.
Yeah, that's about it..

Oh! You know the ticket sellers in Great World City, they're all wearing toque blanche with ratatouille printed on it. The moment i saw it, i rushed to Wenjun, one of my friend who worked there and borrowed it from him. I don't understand why must he be shy about wearing a toque blanche. It is awfully adorableeeeee!
Okay, somehow it's either i was too ecstatic that my face turned out so ugly, or that cute toque blanche contrasted my look.

HAHA.

Anyway, we went out to ease ourselves due to the stress. Okay maybe not stress because i haven't yet started studying! Which is so damn bad. =( I was supposed to be in Hongkong with my mother and sister to attend that Charriol's biennial event. I mean I should be the one going because i'm the one taking Fashion Marketing, HELLO. But that's fine, i love my sister so shan't complaint. STILL! Instead of seeing Phillipe Charriol, i'm stuck in this silly country to complete my overwhelming revision.

Life is sad, for now.

Aside, my friends asked me what brand of wallet i am using? It's Charriol's. =)

PS: toque blanche means white hat aka chef's hat in french. Told ya i'm learning french =p Ha. I thought white is blanc? Gah, who cares.

4es & 5ns
Sunday, September 02, 2007 @ 7:12 AM

Every single time i heard about the conflicts between the 4es and 5ns, i can't help but laugh SARDONICALLY. As childish as i am, i am not that childlike to go around spreading that I hate the 5ns because i don't. And the reason that i don't do that is simple. It's puerile. As harsh as it may sound, it is true.

Here are two batches of graduating classes, alias Hendersonians, combating against each other. Not as rivals, enemies. It's seriously dumb. Instead of competing with other schools, we're fighting with one another. So what if the 4es got better results, so what if the 5ns got better? Subsequently, we're still marked as Hendersonians.

Ultimately, we are going to succeed as a school.

If there were ever rumours about the 4es looking down at the 5ns, so what? It's not like the rest of the 4es agree with that one or two person whom happened to bear grudges against the 5ns. There's no need to go to the extent of antagonizing the whole lot of us.
Personally, i think the 5ns are really FINE until the spitefulness became really prominent. To blame the 4es because they had insufficient space. FYI, we were told to sit there. It's not like we did it deliberately to aggravate the relationship.
Like there are some stuffs that the 5ns could achieve while the 4es can't and vice versa.
Why do we need to compete all the time? We can all be there to complete one another's imperfection instead of highlighting one's flaws.

PLEASE. School will be much much better if all of us are united till the end.

PS: If one burst into fury upon seeing this, i suggest, go to the counsellor to seek some emotional help. This is not a criticism. It's just my two cents thought, or maybe more. ;)

So 31st Aug was Be Yourself & Teachers' Day =) We had pretty loads of fun! First of all Shinyee, Shuling, Peiyi, Hweepeng and I made banners for Mr Alan Cheng with honeyed words "we love u mr cheng" and shadowed him for virtually the whole day.
BEHOLD--
PS: Note Peiyi's feet!
Ha. Caught you red handed. No wonder at some pictures you're taller than me when i'm obviously taller =pp Ha!
Nah, she's taller by a teensy bit.

The day before, we had left school really early and went to the Takashimaya Supermarket and bought confectioneries for the words on the banners =) We had pretty lots of fun, and sadly, tinges of embarrassment in front of Mr Sublime when hopping onto the taxi. Geeez.

As i was saying, Be Yourself &Teachers' Day, 3 people said i look like Cho Chang! One "eyeless" fella commented that i looked like a magician -_- Okay, at least it's close to Cho Chang (witch) , thus i was still SATISFIEEDDDDD! Bah, i didn't really plan that whole Cho Chang look-alike thing anyway.

Jessica, Michelle and I went to KTV thenceforth.
-sorry if your neck broke half-way upon seeing this-

LMAO--
PLEASE. We weren't being slutty over there. We were just tired as we had been singing for the past few hours, and since our vocal chords were starting to prostrate, i decided to teach both Jess and Mich the dance Wu Niang by Jolin. Thus i danced the first few seconds, and Jess's job was to mimic.

Apparently, it wasn't really a success. LOL

As for today, I cooked for both Jess and Mich! And they love it!! =D
"Ratatouille" really inspired me. It effaced my laziness and made me believe that ANYONE CAN COOK. Aside, they're coming over to cook tomorrow =)
