What do you do when you're a regular blogger, yet happened to be experiencing the FASTEST internet ever? Seriously the internet here is ridiculous! It took me like, 20 minutes just to get to the dashboard of blogger's homepage. And it is already fortunate because sometimes, the page cannot load at all.
And um, it just disconnected.

*interlude*

OK, reconnected!
Anyways, we went to Kalimantan, Singkawang, on the 18th till the 21st of February to see the annually Chap Goh Meh. By we I mean, Vinsy, Shuling and I. Well, with parents too, but um, we are usually separated from them, so yeah, they're not really counted. OK dammit! I shall be filial. Also um along with us... my parents and Vinsy's parents.
Chap Goh Meh is a festival, which is believed to be, well, I don't know. In my opinion, and self-made definition though, it is a festival where people get possessed by spirits and impale themselves and sit on knives and worship "Gods" with a kind of uncanny voodoo dolls.
Don't get me? No worries, I have photos.
They always say a picture says a thousand words, mine would be one, freakish.
But aside from all these peculiar happenings. We, youthful teenagers DID enjoy many things there! One of them would be, sitting at the back of a lorry =)
Also, the foods there are really really heavenly. And according to Mommy, the foods are healthy as neither preservatives nor hormones are introduced as the stalls are their own little businesses.
Also, the coffees! Yummy...the coffees with condensed milk AKA sweetened latte are really traditional and unbelievably good! And it only costs 600 Rupiah which is equivalent to approximately US$0.06.
Well, I'm really sorry for not updating it for the past few, OK maybe not few, past many days. Anyways, my cousin, Vinsy is going back to Beijing tomorrow while Shuling's returning to Singapore the day after. =( Let's all pray that they would arrive there safe and sound on those 2 days. For now, me got to go =D
XOXO-
