indonesia for summer'09
Wednesday, July 08, 2009 @ 6:14 AM

HELLO EVERYONE! I am so terribly sorry for not updating my blog :(:( it's just that,, the internet connection in Indonesia is REALLY (not exaggerating) bad.
A little bit about my life in Indonesia, it has been fine, I haven't really meet many people but oh well, it's okay. After all I'd be here for 3 months! :)

I love Indonesia!
Well, for the appearance part of mine. For one, the annoying pimples and acne marks of my skin are slowly vanishing. It is ironic since the air in Seattle is probably 100x cleaner than Indonesia's but yeah.. Secondly, I am going to take dance classes and my figure skating classes which will of course, benefit my health since they are "sports".

I dislike Indonesia!
There are two things bothering me. One, my parents. Two, the condition of Indonesia! The first one shall stay undiscussed. The second one however, is incredibly disturbing:

1) Pollution
2) Moral

I do not really want to criticise, but it is just upsetting.

The pollution is just shocking, for me. Well since I've lived in Singapore for practically my whole of 10 years, it is definitely dismaying. The dust/air pollution is literally like mist/fog. It forms a visible translucent layer that uglify the environment.

The moral of the people are frustrating! People stare rudely at you, they do not wait for you to get out before they enter - and I don't only mean in the elevator or entrances. Even RESTROOMS. Like, HELLO, squeezing into the cubicle before one exits?

Anyways, I can't upload pictures yet because my sister forgot to bring the freaking cable/connector :(:(

I'll try to purchase a memory card reader ASAP! Till then, love you all! :)

PS: today is the first time ever I voted for a future president ;)
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono go go go! Continue your outstanding works for Indonesia!
You know what? This is actually the first time in life I have ever been proud of a President of Indonesia so be excited for me! ;P
