SIGH. Can you say gorgeous?????? Teehee!
Anyways, I am so going to get this dress in Singapore later! :) It is simply adorable isn't it?! Especially when a huge black belt is placed in between the waist line of the dress :DD

LOOK, it comes in teal too! This time I took the picture on its mannequin for a rough visualization of how it looks :)

Anyways, for those of you who don't know, I will be on the Singapore from the 18th of this month (July) up till the 21st. I hope my friends would not be ultra busy when I am there :( boohoo!
For now, my shopping list of the month would be this dress, and the classic Chanel flap bag! :) I know, I already have a Chanel, but but but, the flap bag is the super classy one! It is the famous classic, and mine's the limited edition. So I want a classic one 0:D I hope my mommy would get it for me when I'm in Singapore! ;) Wish me luck! :P:P
In case you haven't noticed, I am so CRAZY over dresses,, currently -.-
PS: I feel like a cow - FAT.
Fashion Section - Double Decked Dress (DDD)
Thursday, July 09, 2009 @ 12:29 AM
FASHION SECTIONBonjour dress lovers, I am here this morning to cater to you to one of the latest dress trend in Asia: I call them the Double-Decked Dress.
Of course, if you have been to clothing or their online stores within the past 1 or 2 months, you would have noticed a new trend; that is the skirt-over-skirt. In fact, the Bebe dress that I bought has that trait.
In case you still do not understand, here is a picture from Free People to depict that:

This would be categorized under my DDD dress, in a way. But what I meant by the DDD is not exactly this. I meant this:
A dress, with the inner piece acting like the "skirt" and the outer piece as the "top". The inner piece is usually like a simple tanktop dress while the outer one enhances it.

(Inner Piece)

(Altogether)
(Sorry the quality is low because too high of a quality took too long to load, so I used my Blackberry)
I just bought this dress for US$25 in Indonesia! Sigh, things in Indonesia are so much more affordable as compared to USA. Anyways, these kinds of dresses are practically everywhere now! Even in my favourite local boutique in Seattle, Aprie and everyone's seemingly popular store, Forever 21.
So dress lover, here is one more dress category for you to collect,, ;)
PS: It took me SO LONG to complete and upload this entry. The connection here sucks :(:(
indonesia for summer'09
Wednesday, July 08, 2009 @ 6:14 AM
HELLO EVERYONE! I am so terribly sorry for not updating my blog :(:( it's just that,, the internet connection in Indonesia is REALLY (not exaggerating) bad.
A little bit about my life in Indonesia, it has been fine, I haven't really meet many people but oh well, it's okay. After all I'd be here for 3 months! :)
I love Indonesia!
Well, for the appearance part of mine. For one, the annoying pimples and acne marks of my skin are slowly vanishing. It is ironic since the air in Seattle is probably 100x cleaner than Indonesia's but yeah.. Secondly, I am going to take dance classes and my figure skating classes which will of course, benefit my health since they are "sports".
I dislike Indonesia!
There are two things bothering me. One, my parents. Two, the condition of Indonesia! The first one shall stay undiscussed. The second one however, is incredibly disturbing:
1) Pollution
2) Moral
I do not really want to criticise, but it is just upsetting.
The pollution is just shocking, for me. Well since I've lived in Singapore for practically my whole of 10 years, it is definitely dismaying. The dust/air pollution is literally like mist/fog. It forms a visible translucent layer that uglify the environment.
The moral of the people are frustrating! People stare rudely at you, they do not wait for you to get out before they enter - and I don't only mean in the elevator or entrances. Even RESTROOMS. Like, HELLO, squeezing into the cubicle before one exits?
Anyways, I can't upload pictures yet because my sister forgot to bring the freaking cable/connector :(:(
I'll try to purchase a memory card reader ASAP! Till then, love you all! :)
PS: today is the first time ever I voted for a future president ;)
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono go go go! Continue your outstanding works for Indonesia!
You know what? This is actually the first time in life I have ever been proud of a President of Indonesia so be excited for me! ;P
