new haircut for fall 2009 :)

I just got a new haircut! Teehee, cutting my hair in Jakarta is a much safer bet than doing it in Seattle! The problems with most salons in Seattle are that they are either too expensive, or your hair will come out horrendous. Your choice.
Of course, I'd rather go with the expensive one, but i cut my hair less frequently than before :( About once in every three months when I am in Seattle.
Anyways, I went to the Toni & Guy at EX (beside Plaza Indonesia), and got a haircut with Veronica (Top Stylist). She is awesome! I love my new hair, even though it's tad too short if you ask me - though aside from me, everyone else said it was good.
I like the layers that she had given me, plus, she didn't use a razor, nor the jagged shears to thin out my hair. So yeah, I'd say she is pretty good.
In case any of you was wondering to how much it costs, it costs me RP. 360,000, which is approximately equivalent to $36.00. There are three more stylists under her (which means it will be more affordable), and two more above her (meaning, more expensive).
Here is a picture of my before and after:
(I wanted to take the after in the salon just like the before, but my mom was in a hurry :( So I had to take it in BB's house instead)

Sophie Kinsella's "Twenties Girl"
Sunday, September 06, 2009 @ 11:59 PM
Good afternoon people! Sorry for never, OK, that's an overstatement, sorry fot not updating my blog. But um, fear not for I'm here! First of, as the title suggested, I'd like to blabber a bit about Sophie Kinsella's latest book, "Twenties Girl"

For very very few of you who didn't know, Kinsella is also the author for the famous "Confessions of a Shopaholic," and also happen to be my favourite author!
This book is different from that though, the story revolves around a woman named Lara, who happened to be leading a what she called "complicated life," she got dumped by her boyfriend that she still loved, her business partner went missing after she invested a lot of money in the partnership, and also, she has a family which she is not completely satisfied at. And if this weren't enough, the ghost of her 105 year-old great aunt has come and demanded for Lara to search for her necklace. However as the two spent time together, Lara discovered things she would have never discovered which could change her life forever.
No, I didn''t copy it from the back of the book - I swear. But um, if you are a fan of a light chick-lit, then this book might be a good companion for you :) Lo-ove it! Especially the leading man - Ed - who is oh-so-cute. I reckon that it should be a major motion picture!
Anyways, would be leaving for Seattle in 6 days :( Boohooooo..
